Innovative Summer Camp Programs for ages 3-7

Daily Activity Details:

 

All campers, in addition to the special activities and programs planned, will enjoy a story relating to the daily topic and create an art project with Mrs. Z, our Art Teacher at Red Door. The afternoon program begins with a lunch from home and will continue with activities and games supporting the weekly theme. There are no naps offered during camp weeks.

Summer Camp Weeks and Themes

June 15th - DaVinci Science Week - CANCELED


CANCELED- Explore the world of Science with Davinci! Students will be making inquiries, developing their creativity, and participating in hands on experiments to bring out their inner Scientist! DaVinci is very excited to come to Red Door and continue our STEAM based initiatives. Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Inventions, Space Exploration, and Engineering will help to create perfect science labs for our students!




August 10th - Animal Week


Our students will have real life interactions with animals from around the world. They will learn about their life cycle, habitat, and characteristics. Each one of our guests loves the animals he or she works with and is excited to share them with our students! This will be a unique opportunity for our students to enjoy many of our animal friends from Peaceable Kingdom, Wildlands Conservatory, PT reptiles, foster friends and more!! This is a very popular week for campers! Please sign up early to reserve your spot!




July 6th - Cooking Up Some Fun!!


Do you like to bake, create fun snacks, and learn about how food is made? This is your week! Many talented members of the community are coming to Red Door to share their love of recipes and food creations with us!! Melissa Bohan Cuomo is one of our Red Door staff members who also has a special talent in decorating cakes and cupcakes! Melissa will share some of her homemade recipes and help students in some decorating fun throughout the week. Maria from Life from Scratch will be joining us for Cooking Up Fun week as well! Maria is a proud mom of 3 Red Door Alumni, chef and blogger. She uses locally sourced and seasonally abundant fruits and veggies to create healthy and delicious garden to fork recipes. Getting the kids exposed to cooking and meal prep is important; so this will be a hands on experience for your kiddos and a delicious one too. Recipes will be determined closer to our camp week so that the ingredients will be fresh and readily available but will be nut free.




July 13th - Moving and Grooving!


Get ready to learn new skills this week!! Saucon Valley Karate Academy will be here providing martial arts introductory lessons and new skills to keep our bodies focused. This is a great week to advance on new skills if you are a current student, and explore the disciplines of martial arts if this is your first time! Saucon Valley Dance Conservatory will also be here this week! We will learn new dance moves and have fun putting our bodies in motion. Our younger students will explore underwater adventures! Mermaids and pirates will make some appearances this week!! Older dance students will be exploring hip hop beats!! Variations, locking and freezing, and choreography will be introduced and students will be “hip hop happy” showing off some new moves!




July 20th - Splish Splash Week


Time to get WET!! This is the week to wear your bathing suit as we have fun with all things water!! We will keep cool at school as we Splish Splash throughout Red Door! Water obstacle courses, tin foil boat races, water balloon challenges, painting with squirt guns and more will surely keep our kids cool and having summer fun!!




July 27th - Mindful and Musical


Moondog Yoga is coming to Red Door! Miss Colleen has been an early childhood educator for close to 30 years and realized how yoga helps children to focus and settle themselves in her classroom. She is excited to teach our summer campers about yoga, all while using early childhood creative moves to keep all children entertained!
Continuing with focus and passion, Melissa Chill is back from Aardvarks! She provides a unique blend of contemporary rock and roll music for kids coupled with classic teaching techniques to create an experience unlike any in children’s music before. Miss Melissa has been teaching children's music for over sixteen years. She is a full time performer and singer songwriter. She has proudly been a member of Holiday Express for over fourteen years. She has graced the stages with artists such as Bruce Springsteen, Rob Thomas, and Train. She has also performed the National Anthem at Madison Square Garden for the NYC Nicks and NJ Nets. Monday: Our Favorite Songs Tuesday: Jazz it Up Wednesday: Listen to the Beat Thursday: Hip Hop Hurray! Friday: Imagination Fun




August 3rd - Fitness Fun Week


Mr. Tim Bidwell has been a Phys Ed., Health teacher, and coach since 2002. He is the proud dad of 2 Red Door Alumni, Carter and Juliet and will be with us for Fitness Fun Week. Mr. Bidwell will be with us for the week to get our bodies moving! It will be a week of multi-sport themed games, tag games, lead-up games and activities to introduce your child to a variety of sports and sports skills. He has a lot of fun and experience to share with us. Skills practiced throughout the week will be throwing, catching, kicking and hand/eye coordination but all in a FUN manner which will promote readiness for a variety of sports.





Pricing and Scheduling

5 days a Week (Monday-Friday):

8:00 AM – 9:00 AM: $50/week

9:00 AM – 12:00 PM: $300/week

9:00 AM – 3:00 PM: $350/week

3:00 PM – 5:00 PM: $100/week

3 days a Week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday):

8:00 AM – 9:00 AM: $30/week

9:00 AM – 12:00 PM: $200/week

9:00 AM – 3:00 PM: $250/week

3:00 PM – 5:00 PM: $60/week

Payment (By June 1st)

All tuition for camp must be paid by check only.
